Anyone else agree that weekends go by way too fast?

The 40 hour work week is a relic of the New Deal era. The plan was for the husband to work 40 hours a week then come home and just crash while the wife would stay home and do all the cooking, cleaning, shopping, taking care of the kids, and everything else. When it was designed the plan was [i]not[/i] for one individual to work 40 hours a week and have a neat, complete little life as well, nor was it intended for both husband and wife to work 40 hours per week. We haven’t updated our worker protection laws to keep up with the changing times.

Who agrees humans aren’t built for this 5 day work week…

30 hours is all the employees at the repackaging shop gets. 6 hours per day all ladies are moms with school aged kids

I worked 30 hours a week at my last job. It allowed me to pick up my son from school and start dinner. I got off at 3.

It is bullshit. I'm so grateful that I'm able to be a housewife.

Currently weekends and week days are the same to me.

The last ten years before I retired I usually worked 60 a week. I was good at my job and liked it. My last day was all overtime. I walked out and never looked back. Now every day is mine.
