Why would anyone still celebrate thanksgiving considering what happened to the native Americans?

Would people still celebrate Christmas considering what just happened with the Spanish Inquisition?

Well, to be honest I will be having sausages. But I wish you all well.

I don't think most people think about that. They are just happy to have a holiday. Most people don't want to give that up because of something that happened before they were born.
People are just like that.

I don't like thanksgiving because I do find it disrespectful towards Native Americans. But I still go and do the family visiting and family meal stuff anyway because it's expected.

All of November is Native American Heritage month in the USA. Plus, one day in October is Indigenous People's day. What's your point?

We have more reason to celebrate in England - we got rid of some really awful people!

Why would a Native be holding a Palestine flag on a float at the Macy's Day Parade?
