Why would anyone still celebrate thanksgiving considering what happened to the native Americans?

I don't think most people think about that. They are just happy to have a holiday. Most people don't want to give that up because of something that happened before they were born.
People are just like that.

I don't like thanksgiving because I do find it disrespectful towards Native Americans. But I still go and do the family visiting and family meal stuff anyway because it's expected.
