@MoveAlong they are intimidated by him. They should stand up to him! I have always been a conservative more than a Democrat, but I share a lot of views with the moderate Democrats. I really don’t agree with most of the things that they stand up for. I love my country and its citizens, we deserve better

@Bumbles Underestimating Europe's resilience and unity in time of crisis is the mistake that everyone makes and ultimately pays dearly.


Brexit was supposed to be the first of a series - and instead it ended with Britain regretting it, and every other "eurosceptic" party dropping the point from their program.

Russia likewise overplayed their hand thinking that they could force it to stay passive under the threat of no longer receiving gas, and instead, the EU ended up rewiring its energy dependence and bringing the Russian economy to the edge of collapse, with sanctions that they called "toothless"

Trump, MAGA and the American oligarchs are now deep into their "f*ck around" phase too, like their predecessors fully convinced they'll be the ones that can break European unity, when instead they're most likely going to be the next, big, unifying cause.
