I live in the US and I think it’s just the administration and loyalists of MAGA who want Greenland. I think if the US does anything it should be put as many military bases as Greenland will allow to protect it and its citizens. It’s absurd that Trump would want to take it. We need to be protecting our allies, we should be there to help protect them.

I understand trump. I understood him in 2016. He was and is a wannabe dictator. What I can't understand is why the Republicans in Congress are letting him get away with it. You would think at least half of them would not want to see American democracy destroyed.

@MoveAlong they are intimidated by him. They should stand up to him! I have always been a conservative more than a Democrat, but I share a lot of views with the moderate Democrats. I really don’t agree with most of the things that they stand up for. I love my country and its citizens, we deserve better

Regardless , US inflation is printing money and not higher taxes , dollar is devaluating and De-dollarization is the future.

Trump doesn’t want Russia as a neighbour. Has he forgotten where Alaska is?

@AdmiralPrune Bold of you to think he knows it's already their and that he won't invade it next if you point it to him on the map

@Bumbles Underestimating Europe's resilience and unity in time of crisis is the mistake that everyone makes and ultimately pays dearly.
Brexit was supposed to be the first of a series - and instead it ended with Britain regretting it, and every other "eurosceptic" party dropping the point from their program.
Russia likewise overplayed their hand thinking that they could force it to stay passive under the threat of no longer receiving gas, and instead, the EU ended up rewiring its energy dependence and bringing the Russian economy to the edge of collapse, with sanctions that they called "toothless"
Trump, MAGA and the American oligarchs are now deep into their "f*ck around" phase too, like their predecessors fully convinced they'll be the ones that can break European unity, when instead they're most likely going to be the next, big, unifying cause.

There's one sign that Trump doesn't really want to take Greenland 🤔 he's put Vance in charge of the process 😂
