Animals are stunned here in Norway but is still halal because a prayer of thanks is spoken to the animal before it actually dies. The same could surely be done in the UK.

Then why do they keep voting for a party which tries to deny voting rights to gay people, let police officers kill black people with impunity, artificially limit the supply of housing, and deny women equal opportunity in the workplace?
Conservatism (at least the mainstream conservatism that makes up most of America) believes in liberty, freedom, the rule of law and free market capitalism. Mainstream conservatives do not oppress anyone, at least not with direct actions.
Then why do they keep voting for a party which tries to deny voting rights to gay people, let police officers kill black people with impunity, artificially limit the supply of housing, and deny women equal opportunity in the workplace?
