I just saw on the news where 1.9 million people in Texas are still without power this morning from hurricane Beryl.

We had some friends cool off at our house yesterday since we have power. Our teenage granddaughter spent the night with us rather than stay in their powerless house. A few people are staying at our church. About a third of the city is still without power this morning.

@4meAndyou They were lucky to have a reprieve at night. When our AC went out a few years ago just before July 4th we had the doors open and the ceiling fans on and it was still 92 in the house at midnight. For the next week we slept in the RV until the new unit was installed.
