I just saw on the news where 1.9 million people in Texas are still without power this morning from hurricane Beryl.

Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers 🙏

We had some friends cool off at our house yesterday since we have power. Our teenage granddaughter spent the night with us rather than stay in their powerless house. A few people are staying at our church. About a third of the city is still without power this morning.

@exexec God bless you guys. I am surprised the rest of the family didn't come over and stay the night.

@exexec Their choice then. At least you did the right thing.

🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 At least the current temperatures there are in the mid to high 70's. So there will be no deaths from heat stroke.

@4meAndyou Yes, but the day is supposed to be in the 90's. 🥵

@Musicman Oh my gosh...the map has updated...it's going to be brutal.

@4meAndyou They were lucky to have a reprieve at night. When our AC went out a few years ago just before July 4th we had the doors open and the ceiling fans on and it was still 92 in the house at midnight. For the next week we slept in the RV until the new unit was installed.
