@Zaphod42 You're under one, or at least a small area southeast of Temecula is. Be carful what you wish for. Heavy rain after prolonged drought is a recipe for disaster. It's like pouring water on concrete - nowhere for the water to go. I pray you guys get some relief. Is it true some areas are offering money to remove grass from yards out there?

And don't worry, you'll get the rain. Right after the wildfires but before the mudslides. Oh, I miss California.

@Graylight I don’t doubt the grass removal programs like that exist… According to one report I saw, keeping lawns green accounts for about 1/3 of California’s water use.
