Do you believe there was a pandemic?

Jordan Peterson says that he doesn't think there was a covid pandemic. The death statistics certainly don't show that there was one. Yes people died from Covid but then people die from all kinds of diseases. That does not mean a pandemic. Peterson goes on to say that what we had was 2 years of totalitarian government. Another point where I agree with him

@samueltyler2 Sadly, people die all the time, people die every single flu season….thats nothing new. No, the hoax was making everyone believe there was a ‘pandemic’. THAT is some scary ass shit right there, to see how easily they made people just fall into line and start doing crazy shit (like taking their death jab)…and the best part…because they care!!!!

@ImpeccablyImperfect some day you will awaken and realize just how badly you have been misled. In the US we are seeing over 1,000 excess deaths per week, from a respiratory illness testing positive for COViD. That compares to the 93 from influenza.

https://abcnews.go.com/Health/1500-americans-dying-covid-week/story?id=106237143

We are also seeing pretty strong trends in people post COVID infection, such as excess new cases of diabetes for one. You say you disagree as much as you want, the data is there.
@samueltyler2 Data fabricated by the left wing media. 😂🤣😂
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@LoneVoice nice try, that is getting a bit old! Show me data showing this data is false? Show me actual published data, show me the source of the data!
@samueltyler2 First show ME your authorization that I or anyone else has to show you anything.
that is getting a bit old!
Hey, YOU are the one who cited an ABC news link. What is getting equally old is the non rebuttal to the charge.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@LoneVoice my "authorization?" What are you talking about? If you want other data sources, please tell me what sources you WILL accept? If no scientific sources are acceptable, then i am simply wasting my time with you. You can post any cartoons you want, but without showing data to prove your point, you are just another either uninformed or worse, you have been brainwashed.

I predict you will say that CDC lies, but here is a link to the CDC website that shows over 1,000 deaths from covid:

https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#datatracker-home
@samueltyler2 Yeah, your authorization to demand that I show you anything. Who do you think you are, besides yet another pretentious liberal?? So you have NO authority. I didn't think so.

CDC... 🤣 What's next? A link to what Fauci says? 😂

I don't need internet "links" to tell me how to think. I see what I see, I hear what I hear, and I know what I know.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@LoneVoice Wow, you are really a sicko. I never demanded, i just think that if you make a statement, you should be able to support that statement. What do you see, what do you hear, and from whom? Is the best you can do is refuse to accept my statements, which I supported with references, and simply call me a liberal? That really displays great knowledge!
@samueltyler2 Sicko? This coming from a man who likely has a picture of George Stephanopolis in his bedroom.
As I said, I don't need an internet link to tell me how to think.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@LoneVoice Wow, that was an interesting try. What do you see in Stephanopoulos that frightens you. Is that really the best that you can do? I am frightened by the person who has a picture of Putin, or worse, in his room. If you want to debate policy, if you want to debate data about COVID, then let us compare our sources and notes. If all you can do is throw epithets at me, then go ahead, they don't stick.
@samueltyler2
throw epithets
YOU replied with "sicko" and started it. LOL!! You liberals are incapable of seeing your own bad behavior while scolding others. The height of arrogance.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@LoneVoice I am sorry that I allowed myself to fall to your level and used the term sicko. I think you can look back and see who started throwing nasty comments out at whom first.

Again, if you want to have an adult, discussion, or debate about the facts, then please let us do that. But, if all you can do is denigrate me, without having half the knowledge base I do, then just go away.
@samueltyler2 I did look back, and it was YOU who started it.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@LoneVoice If that is what you want to believe, fine. But sending a cartoon, and denigrating me was not something I started. I hope you do not discover too late that COVID is real and deadly. Too many patients admitted to the hospital for COVID cried and said they wished they had paid attention.
@samueltyler2 Who sent a cartoon and denigrated you? Not I. Show me. I think you are getting senile and definitely out of your league here.

Santa Claus is real too lol 😂

@samueltyler2

I gave you government data from the U.K. government website, deaths caused by only covid but you choose to ignore it.

Not many died from Covid alone.
They put covid on so many death certificates that actually didn’t die FROM covid.

Hit by a bus-Covid
Heart attack-covid
Gunshot death-covid
Cancer-Covid

And you believe that BS lol 😂
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Fairydust You have no idea what you are speaking about when you say the deaths are not caused by covid. If someone is immunocompromised by cancer but dies because of COVID, then the proximate cause of death is covid. If someone has heart disease and has a heart attack precipitated by covid, it is a death caused by covid. That are the rules, those rules have been followed by medical care providers for the 60+ years that I know of, even back in the 1960s when I did a rotation in London. I don't know where you were able to tease out any gunshot deaths or auto crash deaths that might have been called covid.

In the UK there still is averaging over 200 COVID deaths per week, much lower than 2 years ago, lower than last week as well, but if that is your family member, it is still very significant. It is still a greater rate than influenza. (If you compare UK with 67 million to US with 320 million, that death per week is very similar)

Herre is the UK government website for you review.

covid dashboard: https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/details/deaths
respiratory date including covid, influenza, etc.: https://ukhsa-dashboard.data.gov.uk/

explanation of how the data is collected. remember that the positive test for covid is only the PCR, home antigen testing is NOT reported, which probably means that it is underreported.

https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/sources-of-surveillance-data-for-influenza-covid-19-and-other-respiratory-viruses/sources-of-surveillance-data-for-influenza-covid-19-and-other-respiratory-viruses

You can believe what you want, the data however, is the data and can be reviewed by anyone who desires.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@samueltyler2 And when covid did NOT cause the death it was still labeled as a covid death. The fact is that a heart attack is a heart attack and the death from a heart attack is the result of the heart attack. A cold such is covid may have been a bit of a contributing factor but the death was the result of the heart attack and not covid.

@samueltyler2

I do know what I’m talking about.
The whole thing was a scam!

We have corruption in our governments and you keep defending them. Ffs 🤦🏼‍♀️
