@WillaKissing Yup. The thing is, too many of the idiots are in power. Putin, Orban, Modi, the list goes on. We need our leaders to unite and combat climate change. And that includes moving beyond rearing cows for meat.
@WillaKissing he wont define it. Wants to kill millions of animals based on sloganism. In fact, not many will define it because definition brings context
@SW-User "all these idiot leaders" to "these idiot leaders will impose tyranny on you for climate change". How cowardly to use proxy government violence to impose your view (that you cannot even explain)
@SW-User what are you doing to combat climate change? You a vegan? Have you stopped driving gas anything? Electric cars do far more damage to the environment than cars, btw. Have you stopped using anything with oil associated with it?
SW-User
@TallMtnMedic Deflection noted, of course. But in answer to your questions:
are you a vegan
Yes
Have you stopped driving gas anything?
Yes. And EVs are nowhere near as damaging to the environment as normal cars.
Have you stopped using anything with oil associated with it?
Yes. I now reuse anything plastic I now have, and never buy anything plastic.
@SW-User Fair enough, except theres oil in everything, notice I said everything associated with it.
The machinery to make the food you eat, theres oil in that EV, the clothes you wear, the medication you may take (or will as time goes on).
Do you have anything leather based?
I shouldve been more specific, I keant drilling for gas vrs mining for lithium battery for your ev. Emissions deriving from mining their lithium batteries and other elements are lower than those deriving from fossil fuels production, the extraction methods for lithium and cobalt can be very energy intensive – leading to air and water pollution, land degradation, and potential for groundwater contamination.
SW-User
@TallMtnMedic still far far less damaging to the environment than oilfields, open cast mines and leaky pipelines
@TallMtnMedic And that Lithium mining is 10 times more toxic to the environment, and where it is minded from becomes permanently unusable poisonous toxic ground.
@BlueGreenGrey Is that all you have is to question how I chose to live my life, Flipping Lib-Tard week ass approach! Let's not stay on point of the issue, but let's question the person's life choices.
@SW-User No it is not; Your Lithium mining permanently ruins the entire environment of the area where it is mined from rendering that land permanently toxic.
