Some is foetal alcohol spectrum disorder. I have an adopted son who has a diagnosis of FASD as well as autism. I got used to saying he's autistic as people are less judgemental and accepting when it's ASD but honestly I think it was more the alcohol. FASD is the leading cause of non genetic learning disabilities.

@PatientlyWaiting25 oh that might actually make sense given the community in which we live (sadly)

Vaccines causes autism. Compare to the Amish for research.

@PatientlyWaiting25 yes I think it's more likely to be discipline and diet and less pollution microplastics

@LibertarianEmily Amish are probably getting microplastics as it will be in the water, there's also autism within the Amish community, there's a genetic factors too and the Amish have a relatively small gene pool.

@PatientlyWaiting25 I am 100% that autism is a real thing and could have a genetic component... and everything... but there can be multiple factors right

Why is not due to increased reporting and diagnosis? How do you know that?
LibertarianEmily · 26-30, F
@EBSVC cos I can see with my eyes that's there's a difference - I'm not going from reported numbers.

Maybe it's the way their parents hook up. I had to have Internet access for 20 years before I married
