You can say what you want... there are more autistic kids than ever before and no it's not due to increased awareness or reporting.

Maybe it's how kids are raised these days, or something to do with pollution/plastics, microplastics... but the number of 'normal' kids is lower than when I was a girl.

Some is foetal alcohol spectrum disorder. I have an adopted son who has a diagnosis of FASD as well as autism. I got used to saying he's autistic as people are less judgemental and accepting when it's ASD but honestly I think it was more the alcohol. FASD is the leading cause of non genetic learning disabilities.
