I haven't even heard of the punch. I guess it's just another thing overshadowed by the Oscar slap.

Never saw it and never will.... not meant to be a pun either! Ahahahahahahahaha!!
It's just not interesting and won't change my life in any way.

You're not missing anything either.
Just the typical audacity that is Hollyweird.

It wasn’t a punch, it was a slap. But either way the moment has passed.
Rutterman · 46-50, M
Is that a separate incident from the Will Smith-Chris Rock slap? If so, I haven't seen it.
Piper · 61-69, F
Maybe just one of the few. When I saw the clip(s), I thought it was a "punch". I did not watch the awards show.
NiftyWhite · 46-50, F
I think Smiths career is going to tank
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@NiftyWhite Unfairly.
Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F

@LordShadowfire not really.. I did get bombarded with suggestions about it and suggesting his wife is a narcissist but I really don't know anything about them.
Other than he was the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air... LoL

It was a slap, and that was so last week.
Fluffybull · F
Well, I'm in the UK but I haven't seen it either. Frankly am fed up of hearing about it.

I saw the slap, 😯 was totally shocked!?
My behavior was unacceptable." Will Smith addresses Oscars slap,

at least he sees what he did wrong.

It wasn't a punch. Just a slap.
bijouxbroussard · F
The slap ? Because if Rock had been punched, he’d have been laid out, possibly unconscious. But I heard about it and saw YouTube. I did not see it as it happened. I never watch award shows.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@bijouxbroussard I wasn't even aware the Oscars happened until I heard about the slap.😆
bijouxbroussard · F
@LordShadowfire Same here.

What about the Donkey Punch?

I didn't, until I Googled that finger tap. I'm sure they both cashed in big on that stunt.
Adstar · 56-60, M

@MarmeeMarch So it was perfectly fine for Chris Rock to talk shit about someone with alopecia.
empanadas · 31-35, M
Yeah, usually people your age don't care about black on black violence

@empanadas My age???? REALLY?
What I do not care about is how this society elevates Hollywood celebrities above the rest of us.
I do not care about an altercation between two wealthy, privileged men in tuxedos on a stage. It bothers me that this incident draws more attention than the actual violence in our inner cities that perhaps you are referring to.
I do not care about the marriages and divorces of Hollywood people. It bothers me that those relationships are so overly scrutinized, when all over this country people of modest means are dealing with the emotional and financial fallout of broken homes.
And it is hard for me to take seriously your ageist insult that is a real stretch, based on what I actually posted. I DO care passionately about stereotypes and prejudice of all kinds, including what you have displayed.
