The energy is abundant and inexhaustible; though obviously not "renewable". That adjective is as much just greenery jargon as "nett zero" and "zero carbon".
For energy can be neither created nor destroyed, only transferred or converted.
It's the conversion from free, natural mechanical and light energy to electricity in a transmissable and usable form that is so expensive.
There are no "trojan horses" though. No secrets at all. The so-called "green levy" has been running and public knowledge for a long time now.
And no, I don't like the levy either.

@mysteryespresso what a bizarre set of comments youve popped on this post.
What point are you trying to make?
What point are you trying to make?
@gol979 i really don't know.
Why do you care
gol979 · 41-45, M
@mysteryespresso well bully for you. Many people will not be able to afford these price increases....but as long as you are ok 👍
@gol979 i know it's bad. Someone on sw would need to travel 40 miles by bicycle. They have no choice but to pay for fuel. I can ride bicycle to work so I'm good
gol979 · 41-45, M
@mysteryespresso yes, we know you are good
ImperialAerosolKidFromEP · 51-55, M
When does it come into effect?
gol979 · 41-45, M
@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP it will be do with keeping it in line with inflation etc. This will be removed and the energy companies will make record profits whilst many hard working ppl cant afford to heat their homes
ImperialAerosolKidFromEP · 51-55, M
@gol979 for how long have they been in place? I saw what happened with price control in Venezuela. It's not pretty
gol979 · 41-45, M
@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP apologies its to do variable rates...theres a cap on them. But ultimately these caps drive price
