I see people freaking out about events they have no impact on, and politics bots posting the news repetitively. I’m so relieved I gave up social media

One of the things you have to remember is that the world is too complicated a place to figure effectively. Some people claim the UK is a lot worse off after Brexit but don't consider the effect Covid, Russia, and numerous smaller but influential factors have had over economies (not just that in the UK). Perhaps the UK would be better off as a part of the EU perhaps it wouldn't it is a difficult equation to effectively calculate.
