You're working on a spell for alchemy...

...and during the process of turning lead into gold, you make a mistake and there's a mini explosion that ends up getting some of the substance that you're working on onto you. In the 60 seconds that you have before you turn into gold yourself, do you...

1) Frantically try to find a cure in order to stop the curse before you're frozen solid, or

2) Choose your own pose and fate, not wanting to be an awkward golden statue forever. (and if so, what kind of pose would this be?)

Same as for a plane crash. Put my head between my legs and kiss my ass goodbye. At least it would amuse some people,,before they start breaking off pieces of me to sell on the gold market.
