@PerfectionOfTheHeart really? how so? and why?

			PerfectionOfTheHeart · 46-50, F

@Chiefjustice Because I’ve seen the lengths influencers go to to gain hearts, subscribers, and comments just to be “somebody” of value in this world and to be lumped into that single-minded group would be embarrassing as hell.

Only one I can think of. Sex work. Mainly because, it's still a very dangerous profession.
...
So I guess, not so much embarrassing...

@Chiefjustice don't really see a only fans page is a profession. Most people barely make money doing that

The drinkin' age in Canada is either 18 or 19 years of age, depending on the Province where you end up doin' yer drinkin'...
When I started University in Ontario at 19, I applied for a part-time job as Waitstaff at a local "members-only Women's Club" which I saw advertised in the University's weekly news rag. The Club was located right next door to a lawn bowling club in an affluent residential area of the city, so I thought the two were somehow related.
I was called in for an interview by the Club's female owner and was given the job on the spot during the interview. The Women's Club turned out to be a private male strip club for female patrons only, but those female patrons had to take out an annual membership to gain entry to the Club.
The exception to this rule occurred on Wednesday nights-only, where non-members could get in for free which typically attracted a large female crowd from the local university I attended.
The only males allowed in the place were the professional stage dancers (strippers) themselves who came from all over the world except the USA. They would circulate through our Club on a monthly rotation and there was always some new guy there from some far-away place with a strange-sounding name every night.
The Club was always about 50% occupied on average, from the start of my shift at 7pm until closing time at 1am. I never actually told anyone except my mom that I worked there, mainly because of the ultra-conservative political bias that prevailed throughout that predominantly rural region of Ontario, which was directly across the river from Detroit Michigan but on the Canadian side.
Who held the greatest percentile of the Club's membership however, were American women who were female Executives at GM and Ford who's Head Offices were located directly across the Detroit River in Michigan! Those Head Offices were only a 10 minutes cab ride away from our Club, even after crossing the Canada/US border!
The reason the Club never hired American male strippers was because the idea of American males being 'strippers' was an appalling thought to most Americans, according to the conservative self-perception America has of itself as a Nation, which means American men don't typically pursue careers as male strippers! This fact alone I learned, is why the vast majority of our female Club members were well-heeled female Business Executives in the US Auto Industry from Motown to Atlanta, because no such Clubs existed anywhere in the USA!
