Backing out of a grocery store parking space during the day...

Has to be one of most ridiculously nerve racking things ever lol.

You've got people on cell phones not paying attention, people with kids who may not be paying attention to them, your view might be blocked by some big ass truck or SUV next to you, etc.

Luckily I have a 24 hour grocery store not far from me, so I can go shopping late at night or early in the morning when there is hardly anyone there.

Most of the dents in both our cars happen in those parking lots. The people just drive away.
If you are backing up and someone else is also backing up and you see them so stop, but they keep going anyway and hit you, insurance will consider that 50/50 and ding you both no matter what you say.
