I think the first step is to probably get your head around the fact that the fast food isn鈥檛 gonna disappear- so if you have it say a couple of times a week, moderate portions, don鈥檛 go super-size, then you could enjoy it for years to come.
Then perhaps look at yourself in the mirror and say if you want a girl in your life, perhaps use that as motivation for eating better, exercising a bit more and just taking care of yourself :)

@Chrisy2 That's fair and constructive advice. I can't tell you how frustrating it is to not be able to get talking with girls because all they see now is my belly. Never used to be a problem but now it's too big to hide. And I try to avoid looking in the mirror! 馃槀

The gym that I normally go to is open 24 hours. I was out of town and they have a franchise there and I didn't realize that one closed at 9. I guess I also didn't realize everyone else had left, lol. I had gone into the locker room just after 9 and undressed to take a quick shower. Suddenly one if the girls who worked there walked in to do the final check before closing, and there I was. 馃槼

Well that was quite an icebreaker.
Closest for me was the last time I drank too much on a night out.After getting dropped off at home by the designated driver I fell much as walked through the front doorway.The driver and final drop off thought it was hilarious.Then I struggled to undo the ankle ties on my heeled sandals.
