There was someone on here with multiple profiles, male and female, British, who used to snipe at people who didn’t speak English the way [b]they[/b] thought it should be spoken, even down to slang terms.
I once saw this person get angry at a poster who said he was “really pissed” at a family member about something. She came on berating him for being an “alcoholic”.
In the UK, “pissed” means “drunk”. I explained to her that here, “pissed” is short for “pissed off”, meaning [b]angry[/b]. She wouldn’t hear it and got angry at both of us for “trying to destroy the English language”.
It was surreal. 😳

@SW-User Yes, it sounded really familiar. I encountered at least 6 different profiles that I believe were this one person. And when I blocked one, the rest all blocked me, thankfully,
