I think we should pay attention to attention we get anywhere.
This might be the internet, and not direct connection with people to the extent we have that offline....but it is still “real life” in the sense that we are still dealing with real people.
I prefer to use the term “offline” rather than “in real life”....and I think that attention from people online, as well as attention offline, should not simply be ignored.

@DragonFruit I can't deny at all. I agree offline is a better word however, I still feel there is a huge difference in off n online personality many of the users hold.. n I feel the most accurate one is the offline.

@Donotfolowme Sometimes people are hiding something in their offline lives, so there are times when their online personality might be the more accurate one....I’ve seen it work both ways.

@DragonFruit Once I get enough trust with someone I am corresponding with, little by little I let things out that help alleviate the fear that I am fake. Eventually I would give my Facebook out.

@DragonFruit The problem with that is usually people are being characters here so I can’t actually invest my time into people here. I used to get very hurt and almost sick from my poor judgement so I have to keep things superficial here.

@Keepitsimple That also has something to do with your own personality....it can hurt you offline as well as online if you’re not careful.

@DragonFruit I agree and for that reason I’m very choosy about who I let into my real world also. I’m very private and dedicated to my friendships. I expect that in return.
