Is it just me, or is this old toy clock a bit unnerving?

You know what I think it is? The eyes, and the way they just stare at you 🤔...

What bothers me most is that because the numbers to the sides of its eyes take up different amounts of space, the eyes look off-center. So it just looks slightly asymmetrical, just enough to really get under my skin.
