Have you ever wanted to slap someone on here?

I have before. I do kind of have anger issues 🤭.

I think everyone needs to be slapped. Both to learn they are more durable than they think and still susceptible to pain/consequences.
@Tython What if you already know these things ? 😳

@bijouxbroussard Call it a refresher course.
@Tython No. Life’s cruel enough in itself.

@bijouxbroussard That's what I'm talking about! Get slapped and you learn "Hey, that hurt but I can take a hit. Maybe I can do better for myself after all."
@Tython And one needn’t be literally slapped to have that epiphany.

@bijouxbroussard You'd be surprised. You can think you know something as fact until you experience it for real. Not just slapping, but most things in general.
@Tython Not everyone has to learn things the hard way. It takes intelligence to avoid pitfalls by observing others’ mistakes.

@bijouxbroussard Get slapped and learn you aren't invincible. Never experience pain or hardship and you get arrogant. Evidence supports this throughout all of history.
@Tython No. Life’s cruel enough in itself.

@bijouxbroussard But it doesn't have to be if you learn how durable you can be via slap in the face.
@Tython Physical violence has little correlation with durability in life—unless one’s life goal is being a punching bag. 🤷🏽‍♀️

@bijouxbroussard Not sure if you're really not seeing my point or just trolling.
@Tython I totally understood your initial reply. I can just see it from a different perspective.
Tython · 31-35, M
@bijouxbroussard I don't think you do. Otherwise I wouldn't have to circle back to it as often as I have.

@Tython I think she is just saying that a person should not have to be slapped to understand right from wrong.
Tython · 31-35, M
@Rose0415 I'm not talking morality. That's a whole different argument. I'm talking about self-worth.
@Tython I understood you from the first. Like I said, I just don’t see it the way you do.

@bijouxbroussard Could've lead with that. I can't argue it. To each their own, right?
