Why are some people making such a fuss over wearing a mask due to COVID-19?

I mean, no one is forcing you to put on a hazmat suit every time you go out, so what is the big deal? Stop whining and deal with it 😂🤣.

You realize Biden and some governors are looking to make wearing them in public permanent?
@Peaceful But people can still go about their normal daily activities though, right?

@latinbutterfly I can't here wearing a mask in public. The hills are steep, it is hot and I walk everywhere. Isn't oxygen important to our immune systems?
@latinbutterfly Thank you. It’s a small price to be able to come out of lockdown.
@Peaceful Okay, so just take it off then when you are walking or hiking by yourself 🤷🏻‍♀️.
Peaceful · F
@latinbutterfly I can't really...I'm in a foreign country. But I hike everywhere living around volcanoes. Many don't wear them here, I'm not a native here...so i just pull it down a lot so i can breath better.
@Peaceful What they’re requiring in my state is wearing masks when you go inside a building that is public, not your home. Walking outside, keeping a distance from others, most people pull the masks down and that’s okay.
@Peaceful Well If you are not around people then their is really no reason to wear it. I don't wear mine in the car for example.

@bijouxbroussard and we are to8ching our faces how many times when we pull it down? We each have to get away from the fear mongering of MSM and look yo the statistics, more testing equals more positive cases but the death rate it dropping. Also, mostly elderly with comorbidities are effected by this. Isn't it better to have healthy people like me be subjected to it to build natural herd immunity so that we can get past this? Instead of delaying more outbreaks due to fear?

@latinbutterfly I'm around plenty. I have lots of visitors that come to my house daily, but I'm into natural healing and eating clean and building our immune system. So...☺️
@Peaceful Okay, that sounds good. I am too, and I am also willing to handle some minor changes in how I do things, to continue on with my life. Just saying.
@Peaceful Except for the fact that there’s no evidence that it’s consistently working that way. People are becoming re-infected. So much for immunity. The fear-mongering is coming from people who are paranoid and think this is a hoax by the Illuminati and such. The people to talk to are healthcare workers who are seeing this up close and personal. And as an “elderly” person who is most likely to have complications if I become infected I’m just trying to avoid that if at all possible.

@bijouxbroussard natural vitamin D and supplementing with vitamin C is your answer.
@Peaceful You’re a doctor now ?
Peaceful · F
@bijouxbroussard Dr Andrew Saul and many others say this. I'm kinda surprised you are stooping to that comment. But fear does it. I forgive you.

@Peaceful Studies are only about 50/50 on whether or not vitamin C can somewhat shorten the length of a cold or not. It is not shown to be preventative. Also, this is applicable to the common cold, not all illnesses, and I have not seen a single piece of research come out relating this finding to corona virus at all.
@Peaceful I’m honestly surprised at you. But for the record, I’m already taking Vitamin D and C and have been for some time. I don’t expect it to prevent me from being infected by COVID, however.
Peaceful · F
@Ananke they have effectively used high dose vitamin C through IV in Wuhan, Shanghai and in NY with the most critical cases.
Peaceful · F
@bijouxbroussard I'm glad! I really just want what's best for you.
Ananke · 26-30, F
@Peaceful Once again I am searching but not finding any scholarly articles on this subject. They are currently running clinical trials apparently but until there is conclusive evidence I'm not going to be convinced. I found one article by NIMH stating that it had showed beneficial effects related to pneumonia and that it should be looked into to potentially help with complications of corona (such as pneumonia) but that is far from a cure or preventative treatment and these studies have not been run yet.

If vitamin C was a bonafide cure or preventative for corona we wouldn't still be dealing with this pandemic. Think.
Peaceful · F
@Ananke nope. Dr Andrew Saul is being silenced because it is a cheap solution. Do better research please
@Peaceful Conspiracy theories. That’s what we don’t need. That’s where the fear-mongering is coming from.
Peaceful · F
@bijouxbroussard did you research his work, cause you sound like a parrot of MSM. He has healed so many and you dismiss it. Tsk, tsk.
Ananke · 26-30, F
@Peaceful Ok correct me if I have the wrong person, but the "Doctor" Saul I see when I look him up is not even an actual doctor, he has a pHD in human behavior. How does that make him an authority in literally anything medical related? Furthermore I am baffled he seems to be a natural medicine consultant when his educational background is not even related to natural medicines.

Perhaps you need to do better research as to what a credible source qualifies as.
Peaceful · F
@Ananke doctors are the third leading cause of death, probably first one after this Covid shit and vent protocols. He heals people. Who do you want to trust?
Ananke · 26-30, F
@Peaceful Medical errors can often be attributed to the crappy management of healthcare workers. For example, scheduling someone to work 3 days straight for shifts well over 12 hours often overnight, even the most talented of professionals is bound to slip up under such exhaustion.

Where did you hear he heals people? Let me guess, from him and his avid fans. Or maybe you read about it in his books. I'm sure he makes lots of money from it all.

I mean I am not even against natural medicine, there are many natural remedies out there with awesome health benefits! But I am not going to trust some random guy who claims to be an expert in it without the correct educational background. I am going to trust peer reviewed research performed by people who have had years and years of formal education in their field.
