Why is it acceptable here to ask women questions you would never ask otherwise?

This is a public, anonymous place. As such, some feel they can ask questions, they've always wanted to ask in real life, but were otherwise afraid of the repercussions of their curiosity. The blowback, in real life, could include being labeled, embarrassed, outed, persecuted, harassed, and so forth and so on.

On SW, they can (I presume), ask these questions, without the repercussions. Of course, some could also be sickos and perverts. This applies to both men and women.

You can always block.

It isn't acceptable. Anonymity brings out the bravery in those who, in real life, are wimps.

Lack of self respect or for women.

Because they can't slap you across the face?

Pathetic isn't it. Guess it's easier for some to show their lack of respect for women and their true [i]non[/i] gentleman nature when not face to face, the whimpy way.

Because it's an anonymous website. They can be their true selves.
