Some beans and green foods cause gas as well but usually not with too much bloating.
I find that I experience more bloat when I eat more carbs especially wheat based processed foods. Go a day or two with only fruits and lightly cooked veggies or a juice fast and your G.I. will clear. Then make sure to eat whole fruit daily in the morning.
