How would you handle this situation

My job involves crunching numbers for some very high profile clients, not to mention we work for clients that are in direct opposition to each other. Do something wrong and you'd be lucky to get a job at McDonald's and worst case scenario is you could find yourself answering to a magistrate.

My supervisor approached me at my desk this morning and informed me that I sent some very sensitive information to an opposition client. I was so shocked my brain turned to mush, my heart started pounding and I started shaking, I literally shit myself.

Through through the haze it occurred to me that I could hear my colleagues cackling in the background. When I finally managed to focus on my supervisors face I couldn't help but notice he was trying not to smile. Finally he started falling all over the place in hysterical laughter, followed by my colleagues.

Finally he informed me that a very close friend of mine convinced him to play this prank on me. The incident made me feel twitchy and paranoid for the rest of the day. Who needs enemies when you have like mine. 馃サ馃が
