What do you do when people start arguing on a post of yours?

I have asked some to stop because by allowing it to continue it will only deteriorate.
Not allowing anyone to hijack my posts for their purposes

I've not ever interfered. That being said , I can't rule out completely deleting the question if things got too ugly.

I prefer not to interfere but if people all corner a person then I may bring the guns blazing.

I will just delete the question
