Why do Politicians quit?

A large percentage of them say it is so they can spend more time with their family
Boris Johnson's brother, Jo, turned that around saying
I am resigning to spend LESS time with my Family😀

@SW-User That would be the case as well.
Here in Australia, many of our spineless Politicians resigned before new Legislation was introduced which would have reduced their payout
