It's like a lot of words that have been co-opted by certain types of people.
I mean, does 'patriotism' really mean a hypocritical belief in god, a denouncement of those who aren't white and conservative and pretending to "support the troops" when it's convenient?
The new one on the hit parade is "Socialist." Does it matter that there isn't one federal lawmaker who is a Socialist? Apparently not.
