I am sorry, it was a misunderstanding

Wow, as it turns out you're supposed to urinate on a jellyfish sting, NOT a jelly stain.

Sending a big SORRY out to that lady at the Waffle House from this morning.

I was just trying to help!

I read that peeing on a jellyfish sting doesn't help, and it might actually make it worse. Pouring vinegar on it is the way to go :p

@boklenholley7 It worked for my brother when he stepped on one at the beach. My Dad, an RN at the time, picked him up and rushed him to the outside showers with a curtain for privacy and told him to let loose on his foot.
@NativeOregonian Might be. Ph.D in biochemistry says otherwise. Jelly fish stingers don't release all venom when first stung. They're activated by touch and other triggers. Scientific American agrees, and even mythbusters have debunked it. 🤷‍♀️

@boklenholley7 This was back in 1977, my brother said the pain went away.
