When I was a high school freshman, I had a particular classmate who had it in for me. One day, she was in the doorwell to our next mutual class. As I attempted to pass her, she deliberately raised her arm and knocked my books out of my arms across the hall. I retrieved them without a word, attempted to go in to class, and she did it again! I picked them up again, and tried one more time.
She swung her arm back for a third try - and this time, bending over my books, bit her hand - hard.
"Ow! You dumb dummy!" she yelled, and klopped me in the back of my head.
That ended the harassment - and it was worth a sore neck if I could finally
get into class.
