What is the strangest thing you've seen a child eat?

My nephew was told he couldn't leave the table until he had eaten everything at a picnic once. When my sister checked in him, he had eaten his food and half the paper plate

My older sister stood outside while my uncle and dad was talking to each other, tugging on their pants leg and offered them a grasshopper, she told them they were good to eat if you pulled the legs off first.

Oh noooo@cherokeepatti
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@pennynoodles I was younger than her and even I knew better than that.

My oldest would never eat a damn thing we'd put in front of him at the table but then we'd be out in public and he'd find a part of a chip on the ground and chow down on it.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@SW-User Kids are funny that way.
pennynoodles · 56-60, F

My little friend once told me that the insides of sticks were coated with peanut butter. Of course I had to taste the inside of the stick she had broken open the long way. It did taste like peanut butter, but every stick I licked and chewed after that tasted like a stick. The mystery may never be solved.
pennynoodles · 56-60, F
That stick must've come from a peanut butter tree, silly. @4meAndyou

cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Caprice they have different scents now. Even more tempting for a child..
pennynoodles · 56-60, F
They do smell good enough to eat, so does liquid soap.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F

@cherokeepatti not my choice either.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@RobG22 I’ve vacuumed up black crickets with a vacuum cleaner (some years we have a huge amount of them and some will get in the house) and they stink to high heaven after the vacuum gets them and swirls them around. I can’t imagine eating those nasty things.
pennynoodles · 56-60, F
I'd give them a go@RobG22
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
Reeses Cups are probably the most common, I don't think many young kids take the paper wrapper off first...🤔
