People live in their own fantasies. They want to believe everything they hear without question. You don't even need to go as far as Skype. Just keep your common sense with you.
Also. Just because a person looks exactly as they say they do, does not stop them being a catfish.

For me I never skyped call with a guy for a year actually, we just casually messaged each other on fb, then we did a few fb calls, but I think that's the turn where we realised we had nothing to talk about cos we pracrically said everything that needs to be known with text lol, so it sizzled out, not much of a relationship but since it was fb I knew he wasn't a catfish, although we met on another site beforehand
