@Elandra77 Not anymore? How come?
@TheLittleBunny I was a member of the Women's liberation movement which began in earnest in 1968. Is essence, first wave feminism but we did not see ourselves as feminists. We had clear cut values and ideas that we wanted -and legislation that we wanted passed. We succeeded. We had clear goals and we could present them so they made sense to women and men alike. Th e:bra burners: were the fringe element of our group and they may have seen themselves as feminists. we just wanted equality and respect. Namely at the workplace but also in society.

Now we have third wave feminism and the ideas and values we held true are totally lost. It is no longer about all those things as we made those things happen- to a large part. And I am speaking of the NA -namely the US. Now it is about control, and manipulation. To the point of hating- And the haters are NOT the fringe element of third wave feminism--they exist in the main section. A gain that is gotten as another is put down, in essence gotten on the back of another is NOT a gain.

When modern feminism embraces equality an equity for ALL--no matter the sex or gender- then I will get on board again. Modern feminism drives a wedge between the sees.

We never wanted that.
