Seriously when I meet girls who don't identify as feminist I'm like but why? And every time they answer about the supposed ills feminism has unleashed on the world and list things like OH I WANT to be traditionally feminine and a housewife I don't WANT a 9-5 job and those nasty feminist are altering the world so that I can't do that and I have to present as more masculine and There's no part of feminism that is anti femininity. That shit has NO place in feminism.
Real feminist would be more pissed off that Society treasures the masculine traits over the feminine ones and express the damn cultural imbalance and point out if Society weren't so fucking masculine women would have more freedom to express their feminine selves.
I don't know why some girls don't identify as feminist. I think they've got ideas about feminism like they think it's some kind of monolith where Everyone agrees on a specific ideology but it's really not. There are all kinds of internal disputes and a rich history of diverse views.
