@OfflineFriend I know tons of modern feminists. Their language can use work and alienates people, but they don't hate men. If almost all of my friends hated me I think I'd know.
And the wage gap 100% exists. It's just super complicated and doesn't happen for the reasons people think it does. I have been to multiple conferences where the results of these studies have been discussed, and have run one of these studies personally.

@CountScrofula well I have seen many studies that people can see is not real , just that many feminist group see that data and take there conclusions with out processing , plus paying people different has been illegal for a long time.
Plus I have economy teachers I have and they have told me it is something it doesn't exist

You're absolutely right. But also, everyone does this. I don't think it's fair to single out feminists, but it is fair to hold people to a high standard for their data. You don't want to put up with bs misinterpreted statistics and I respect that.

That's a big misunderstanding - people think the wage gap is because evil bosses hate women. It's not. It is almost entirely unintentional. It comes from a mixture of life choices (which are gender-based), attitudes we're all raised with, and a lot of unconscious bias.
This goes down to how we teach children and what values we think are ladylike or manly. It's a lot more complicated and nuanced than just "Evil bosses pay women less" which is stupidly simple.
I mean, bosses are evil. Just not for that reason ;)

@OfflineFriend It's possible we aren't - again, the reason why is the wage gap is not what people think it is. People say "Women earn 75% of what men make" and that's a misleading statistic.
But it's still relevant. All the women in society have less money than all the men. That's not because of bad individual choices, but because our society makes it easier for men to make money.
