@bijouxbroussard I think the mark of an extraordinary woman is one that never loses the girl inside...I love my wife for the woman she is, but in my heart she will always be my girl.😊

@indyjoe That’s beautiful, and to my special one I don’t mind being his “girl” either. But in the world I’ve often had to fight to be taken seriously as a competent adult, and being referred to as a “girl” has not really been a compliment. Possibly a cultural nuance.

@bijouxbroussard I see and fully understand your point...even being a man I run into that a lot. I'm 51 years old and still often treated like an inexperienced teenager (sometimes even a kid) by many older people than me.
