Why is it that so many SW posters think Africa is a country , Austria and Australia are interchangeable and Mexico is in South America ?

I think people's knowledge depends on where their interests lie. If someone's mind is occupied mostly by boobs, cars, beer, soap operas and tide pods, then they won't know much beyond that.

Once when I told someone I was from South Africa they then asked me, "But what is the name of the country ?" ☺
