Are "blue balls" a real thing ?

these answers are confusing me i thought blue balls were universally understood among men or agreed upon to me blue balls only happen when stimulated for prolonged period of time and denied release and your balls actually get a purplish hue and it can be much more than dull ache it can actually be painful depending on how aroused you were but it isnt dangerous and the male CAN finish or cure the problem himself. orgasm being the only "cure" some ar you talking about just not getting any lately doesn't qualify as blue balls to me that just trying to get sympathy fucks

@texasdaddydom I have never used that as a ploy to get sex...but I have been sexually aroused (horny) for long periods of time before and after a while of this the balls do begin to ache a bit. It's not an excruciating or desperate pain, but it is somewhat uncomfortable. Masturbation helps relieve the pressure and help it feel better, but it's not as satisfying as sexual play and intimacy with someone.
