Are fetishes really that bad or or people just uneasy to experience them...

The only way I can see that one would be bad is if it's something so deeply ingrained in you that you can't seem to feel fulfilled without acting on it, but it is either impossible to realize in real life, or carries with it enormous consequences that a moment's rational thought would assure you outweigh the benefits.

Aside from that, it's always possible to elicit annoyance, offense, disgust, fascination, amusement, ridicule, or condemnation from others by prattling on about ones you have that they don't.

@Keraunos wow... that is a deeply intelligent answer... actually exactly where I find myself with my partner. It's mutually consenting and and erotic and done wonders for our relationship but my desire to not hide it and be myself would bring untold disaster... it could never be a way of accepted life which is stressful to hide, yet a beautiful contribution to the bidders. Either way... society dictates... society is an asshole sometimes...
