@Salix75 Some are not safe, like choking, blood, feces, etc. Even from an "intellectual" approach.

re the emotional vs intellectual... I was meaning more about how people react. So many react immediately eg "oh youre into feet? ewwwww grossss soooo disgusting" versus removing one's emotional bias and (if inclined) learning about it.

I'm not into golden showers for example, and wouldn't ever do anything with blood, but I can still speak to people about their interest in those things, and learn and try to understand. That's more what I meant :)

@bijouxbroussardthat is exactly my thoughts. It may not be your thing but it is nevertheless an interesting subject. Why? What does it do for you? How does it make you feel? Believe it or not, the crazy ones are not the scum of society that most people think they are... perhaps the opposite..

So true... I'm anonymous here, I could never share these things in my real world. This platform helps with the insanity of feeling abnormal. Mostly we all come here for some emotional reason. I feel that I put on a fake suit every morning. The taboo fetish brings out the true me... very few people under the why and default to weirdo.. .

@DaneSiv @Salix75 There are actual sites specifically for fetishes---Zitybiz and Fetlife, for example. So tbh, I don't feel that bad for people who bemoan not being able to discuss those things here. There are other options, with people who won't judge or be offended.

@bijouxbroussard it's not about being accepted into this abstract society which is still hidden... it's about the societies perception. The abnormal always stress about who knows and judges their abnormality...

@DaneSiv You're not going to change that. Things like coprophilia are going to be considered weird and unpleasant by mainstream. But you're not isolated, there are sites where you can discuss these things with like-minded individuals and even make connections. I thought that was the point.
