BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Graciebaby Dihydrogen monoxide is water.
Cydramech · 36-40, M
@Graciebaby It comes from something that has existed on Earth for millennia long before mankind ever set food here.
Graciebaby · F
@Cydramech is that heavy water shit?
Cydramech · 36-40, M
@Graciebaby Sure.
Graciebaby · F
But u say it's always been present, however now some Arseholes are using it against us?
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Graciebaby "Dihydrogen monoxide" is a joke, it came from an April Fool's Day gag that two radio hosts did where they referred to water as "dihydrogen monoxide" and then said that the entire city's water supply had been contaminated with it. It led to mass hysteria and hordes of people calling poison control centers. It's not heavy water, it's not anything but regular water with an awkward scientific name. Water is H2O, right? Two hydrogen, one oxygen? Dihydrogen means to hydrogen atoms, monoxide means one oxygen atoms, so it's just a weird way of saying H2O.

Yeah I got it. Thanks.
