* Scarecrow for the garden (add strips of aluminum foil or 2 old CD's)
* Shooing cats (only works once, though, then they eat the broom)
* Plant stake (in ground outside or in plants with large pots)
* Deterrent for anyone who dares want to clean your house (hang outside with a noose at its base)
