Farting with eye contact

When I had my daughter living with me and we would go the grocery store. I would fart purposely out loud while standing beside my daughter, and waiving my arms while looking at her with a contorted face exclaiming her name and how could she and "Oh, my God" while scrambling away from her.

I have no idea why she got so pissed off at me when this would happen?
