What is a BBQ to you?

Got invited to a BBQ this weekend. They only served hotdogs and hamburgers. Grilled hotdogs and hamburgers are yummy, but it’s not BBQ! WTF

Growing up in Georgia, BBQ to me is either pork or chicken smoked over hickory, but since I moved to Texas, I have to include brisket. It's not burgers and dogs.
