Does it bother you when people say your name wrong?

So much so that I ended up changing it.

Well people I grew up around referred to me constantly by my last name. And it's not real difficult to pronounce "Mike" so..lol 🤣 but I'm sure somehow someone could mess it up. Least with he last name lol

Yup, but it's mostly people that are from a different country so it's kind of understandable but still. I had one white girl at Starbucks totally mispronounce my French name which is a rather common name. LOL 🤦‍♀️

You'd have to be an idiot to say my name wrong (and, no, it's not Sylvester).

I can't remember the last time that happened .. pretty easy one to pronounce

I stopped caring about it. I'll tell people if they ask but mostly I just smile and nod.

Yes, my name is really easy to say yet people get it wrong.

Don't call me that, I absolutely effing hate it, I consider people who call me that as the enemy
