so i recently discovered that i have been doing kegel exercises wrong. i understand what muscles to use now and it’s crazyyyy

i don’t wanna make this a novel but idk how else to explain it. it’s almost like doing a small slow sit-up, but it’s more of a suck-in with a tiny elevator inside your vagina. lay on your back with your knees bent. after you breathe out (you will end up holding your breath for the entire movement) holding your breath, suck in your upper rib cage muscles up into your ribs so everything below the front of your rib cage is completely hollow. this will make your stomach muscles lay totally flat. you are trying to make your entire stomach completely flat, then lift your head up toward your legs/stomach (as if you are getting ready to do a sit up) this will already be engaging/moving the ab muscles you will be using. not laying your head back down, keep your upper rib muscles clenched, suck your abs up further into your rib cage and lift a little higher. you will see your abs moving into a contracted “dome” pull/suck it into yourself, when your abs are flexed up, pull your inner muscles deeper/core/vagina muscles up as if you have an elevator inside of your vagina. you will feel your vagina expand and suck in air into itself. you will be able to learn how to do it once you figure out which muscles you need to pull in. if it’s still hard to figure out then suck your ribcage in and lift yourself higher to actually do a sit up and watch your stomach, you will see the set of muscles that are moving and those are the ones you need to suck up into your ribs. you are basically pulling everything up into your ribs. the more you do it, the bigger amount of muscle groups you can pull and clench and you will actually feel you pulling your vagina walls/core muscles upward as if you are lifting up an elevator inside on your vagina canal. after you can do this laying down you will be able to do it sitting, standing. kinda anyway you need. @GoneSilent
