does sw get your spicy or mild version?

people seem weirded out or possibly offended that they might get a more mild mannered image of someone from their casual interactions and find their spice level soaring on certain posts. I tend to think of that as fairly normal; people don't need to know about your wild side unless they're interested in that aspect, I'd think?

anyway, it was a weird post from ago. at least to me.

It was spicy at first but then I learned there are too many holier-than-thou busybodies and not enough people I'd actually want to be the recepients of my spicy side on here. So mild version it is.

@CrazyMusicLover I can understand that. the only thing [at least some] people like more than spice is judging spice.

I suppose I have a bit of a duality about it; on one hand yeah, judging others isn't that great. but also I kinda feel like ... I guess flying the freak flag is fine, but maybe put it in the back yard and don't have airhorns and light displays around it, yanno?
some sorts of freak I just don't wanna know about. and although I don't think people have to hide it really, there's no real need to try to make sure everyone knows about it. at least I don't think there is.

This site was literally designed the way that everyone could see everything. There's very little control of who we want to be our audience and what kind of posts we don't want to see. I came here from EP and expected the similar system as they had but soon found out that while EP was a big house with separate rooms, this is pretty much one big huge room with zero privacy. Later we got the option to set our posts as private but that defies the purpose of getting the content to people who might appreciate it about which we don't even know.

Hence, I just adapted.

@CrazyMusicLover sure. I guess I was thinking less the casual look over not seeing and the type of people who post more or less the same thing every couple of hours across 8 forums for multiple days.
