One of my most awkward experiences shopping for groceries that nearly led to a date I was not wanting or seeking.
This is a real experience of mine when your mind fires and once your mouth catches up and the thought sets in your mind and you are left with the Oh, Shit what did I just say?

You know I was in Walmart of all places and looking at the peaches when a young woman employee pulled a new cart load of the peaches out to restock the display. As she passed by me, she saw me reach into her large bin as she pulled it past me and stopped and looked at me. I immediately without thinking said sorry I was just seeing if your peach was firmer and fresher. The Oh, shit what did you just say popped into my mind as her face turned red.
The young woman turned red, but she was blushing and started to throw fruit innuendos back at me. Dang it I was not prepared for any of it, but we both left laughing.
