So I bought these windshield wipers on Amazon...

Installed them and thought.."weird ..these bright green wiper blades"

Tried them and really didn't work that well...streaks all over the windshield...and then it dawned on me that they were the protector strips...took them off and it was like a brand new windshield

I wonder if they should let me out alone anymore

I had a similar Eureka experience last week, @Pretzel. I got a new laptop before Christmas and hadn't tried using the internal camera for a an ID selfie. I couldn't get it to work, went through all the settings and they seemed correct - and then I realised I hadn't removed the protective strip over the camera lens! Duh!🤷‍♂
